A smile played upon Sarai's lips as she looked over at Khast once more. "Something tells me I'm getting to you," she teased. "But fine, I shall use my 'abilities' as you call them...more entertainment for me, I suppose." She stepped out from behind the barrier and looked at the three other knights. "My, don't we look blood-thirsty," she commented, smirking. "How would you like to play a little game, hm? I ask you a question and if you give me an answer I don't like, I cause you pain. Sounds fun, no?"

Gidius smiled, and the air around Sarai started to crackle and smell of ozone, but it suddenly subsided as her words hit him. "Hah, a lark like you, taking all three of us on? This should be interesting". Wilcotts and Zache made a move for Sarai, but the long haired man behind them gently placed a hand on either one's arm, "Wait now boys, laidies first...".

"Ladies first? Then why, pray, are you holding them back?" she questioned, grinning maliciously. She concentrated on Gidius and planted the illusion of his chest being crushed and all the air leaking out of his lungs. "I believe I can manage three of you," Sarai said, smiling as she watched him. Unfortunately, she could only use her powers on one person at a time...but she could fight hand to hand.

Gidius winced and doubled over, fighting to keep his footing, "What...the--!" He gasped, and as his left hand clenched his chest, his right was directed feebly toward Sarai. All around things began to disappear with crisp pops. Dirt, houses, and even Zache's right arm spontaneously were no more, as Gidius wildly attempted to end the pain coursing through his body. Wilcotts was quick to action, and the large man charged Sarai like a raging bull, his arms outstretched to snatch his prey.

An idea suddenly popped into Sarai's head and she acted before she could second guess it's effectiveness. She ignored Wilcotts for the moment. "Had enough?" she asked innocently. "Tell me, is everything going black yet?" She laughed cruelly and extended the pain to his stomach. After a few more seconds, she broke her concentration on Gidius and turned to Wilcotts. "Do you really think what you're doing is a good idea?" she asked, giving him the illusion of a sharp pain in his ankle.

Wilcotts fell forward, catching his ankle. All at once the air around Sarai grew oddly thin, as everything around her began to wax and wane. There was an eerie silence, before an earsplitting explosion threatened to split Sarai's head in two. A monstrous creature lay before Sarai, hoisted off the ground by six pointed appendages. enormous crimson plates lined every inch of it's body, up to the turret that rested snuggly against what should have been the creature's chest. Housed inside the turret were four red eyes, and a small set of undersized mandibles. Two more limbs protruded from the creatures chest, both supporting enormous claws, one of which held Gidius' neck against a cobbled stone wall, which was quickly turning red as the man's life blood rained out over it. After a few seconds the creature cast the twitching body aside, turning it's attention to Sarai.

Sarai raised her eyebrows and backed away a bit before glancing at Wilcotts. "What the hell?" she whispered, now becoming uncertain of what to do. She stayed motionless and just focused on Wilcotts, increasing the pain in his ankle, all the while watching the creature with her peripheral vision to see what it would do.

With Gidius incapacitated--practically decapitated--and Wilcotts writhing on the ground like the baby he secretly was, complaining about his "poor ankle," the tension dropped. Zambi flashed his toothy grin at the lumbering behemoth, "well, well, it's been a while since I've seen that thing, Rubberbands. How's it feel to be in your old skin agai--"
A quick, though somewhat lacking sucker punch cut the death knight short. Zache, his severed limb already cauterized, stood ready to fight, though panting. "Best pay attention, comrade. Us knights don't drop so easily," he seethed through his teeth.
"You're right-handed," said Zambi.
"I'll just learn to use my left right now, then." The supposedly handi-capable knight gripped the dagger sheathed on his belt. He was used to quickly unsheathing his dagger and flipping it over with his right hand for surprise use, but his new situation forced him to grasp it like a Jihn warrior would grasp his katana.
And just as seen in Jihn theatre, the conflict was over in a flash. The clinking of a fallen dagger, the slump of a lifeless body, marred by holes and blood, and the howl of a wounded knight.
"SHIIIT!!" The shark of the streets grasped the new gash he held, branching out from his mouth, bleeding profusely. "Bastard got me in the mou--owOWww!" Zambi immediately learned not to open the wound further. Even with this shark skin, he got me... He forced himself to speak through barely open lips, "Srri! Khst! Need--nd frst 'd! FRST 'D!" His eyes squinted and teared from the pain.

"Smart..." Sarai muttered, sighing as she turned to face Zambi. "This is why we don't chew on knives or needles! Speaking of needles, I have none in which to give you stitches...your spit actually speeds up healing, though this might help for a bit." She paused and ripped fabric off the bottom of her shirt, exposing her midriff and several scars, before handing the fabric to Zambi. "Bite down on that, it should help with the bleeding a bit...I hope."

At the mention of a needle, the giant lobster lifted one of it's front legs to reveal a sinisterly sharp point--Khast's humor was hard to find behind his unchanging eyes. After a chitter of his mandibles his leg dropped to the ground again. The creature moved with an odd grace, it's upper body hovering along as it's spear-like legs cracked the stone walkway beneath it. After arriving at Sarai Khast stopped, awaiting her instruction.

Zambi, afraid of the consequences of reverting back to his human shape, put the cloth in the proper place over his wound. He winced, but it did hurt somewhat less. Unable to talk, he motioned a thumbs-up to her, before shifting it to a pointing index finger at Wilcotts, who managed an escape, "MMm!! Mm! ...Mm."
Dammit stupid girl helping me out and letting the damn opponent get away doesn't she know that could have gotten her hurt the stupid bitch though I am glad this hurts less but dammit still-- He sighed through his gills. No use ranting in my head, he figured.

Sarai turned and saw Wilcotts but just shrugged. "We're bound to run into him again sooner or later," she pointed out. "Khast, you don't happen to have thread, do you? Something tells me the fish wouldn't want a thread from my shirt in his mouth...though it would be interesting to watch him suffer from infection..." She laughed and looked over at Zambi. "Or we can just listen to you whine the entire time...your pick. Though I must warn you, I may hurt you if you become too obnoxious."

The massive crustacean shoot his head--or more-so his entire upper body, as he lowered his leg. Like a train, Khast suddenly shot down a nearby street, and turned to face Sarai. He tried his best to coax the girl forward, though without the ability to speak he was unsure how successful he would be.

Sarai frowned a bit as she watched Khast, wondering just what he was up to. With a quick glance at Zambi, she jogged after him, her confusion evident on her face. "What's up?" she whispered, keeping her voice low in case there were people listening nearby.

Khast chittered impatiently, and directed one long claw over his shoulder. He wanted to continue on, but in truth he had no idea how to find The Key. It would have to be something unique, yet unobvious. What would the Kastel use for such an item?
