"...So THIS is the infamous Gregale?" Mary spat to the heap of black and Orange metal sitting awkwardly between a warehouse and a church. "What a piece of crap!"
The once noble pinnacle of steam technology was now smeared with crimson rust, giving the Gregale a rather gruesome appearance. A section near the back had evidently had it's entire car removed, leaving behind a bare platform (and bits of metal "railing").
Along to Mary's left a group of men were heaving crates into compartments, working their way down as each compartment became full. A couple of official looking Knights patrolled the train, occasionally checking the locks upon the compartments to make sure they were secure.

"Umm...", Taylor began, her eyes buried in a piece of parchment held before her. "Where are we supposed to sit? There doesn't seem to be any passenger cars, and the brochure doesn't mention anything about it..."

Aiden quietly followed behind Taylor and snapped a quick "Shush!" at the last of Mary's remarks. She looked around the area herself, with her bright smiling eyes.. Well the eye that was not covered with hair; peering through her pretend "serious mask." Her hands were groping one another in an uncomfortable fashion, as her head darted from one side to the other, allowing a glimps of what seemed to be a flesh colored bandage with the beginning outlines of a drawn eye. They had boarded Mimzy in the back of the train with the rest of the cargo, and Aiden was unevrved. She bumped into Taylor several times, each time apologizing repetitively.

Sodom, having passed out after being beaten by a woman, falling victim to an army of splinters, and failing to ever change out of the girl's pajamas he was wearing, was embarrassed. He felt a need to make up for all that. Walking up to those knights and asking them them about the train seemed like a good start. A responsible person was one people could respect.
The boy stood up, thrusting his chest forward and his shoulders up, and marched forward. He was immediately stopped a hand grabbing the back of his shirt collar. A voice like sandpaper barked at him, "Hey, you're acting suspicious, girl!" Sodom turned around to look at the man's face, which showed a large amount of disappointment, "Ugh, you're an ugly girl, too."
"Er--um, hello, Sir Knight! I was just l-looking around to find my way on to the train-n... I have a ticket!" Sodom flashed his ticket, and the man let go of his collar.
An expression of sudden interest struck the man's face, "Well, is that so? But, see, this train is primarily used for goods transportation nowadays. It hasn't been used by people for years! It'd just be too dangerous to let you on." He took Sodom's ticket, tore it in half, and dropped it to the ground.
Disappointment traveled to Sodom's face. "Oh...that really messes things up. I really needed to get to--"
"Wellifyousayso!! ON YA' GO!!" The man then threw Sodom into the nearest open door to the Gregale, "try not to get hurt!" He strolled off cackling.

Mary watched as all this occurred, and immediately strode forward to assist his fellow guild-mate. He stopped dead in his tracks as another, more square guard walked by, shutting and locking the doors to the car. It was a moment before the guard turned to face Mary.
"Hmm? What are you doing here?" Asked the guard, eying the young man before him with immediate suspicion. His brown hair was short cropped, greatly complimenting his dark green eyes. In all respects the man represented some type of stone block, steadfast and strong.
Mary snapped out of his daze almost at once, eying the man with an equal amount of loathing, "I'm here to take a little ride on the choo-choo". He pulled an invisible whistle as he said choo-choo, his mockery horribly obvious.
The muscled giant turned a deep shade of scarlet, obviously angered beyond words. However, all rage ceased to be when a young girl popped out from behind the house of a man, "Es sum-sing wrong, Khasty?"
Before he could answer, Mary had begun to taunt the great beast before him, "Aww, Khasty?! What's this? Your new play thing?"
Mary's sarcasm was not appreciated by the small blond doll, who was now stepping out from behind the great barrier that separated her from Mary. "Und wut iz zis, Khasty? Anozar strey dog wis a tempar problem?"
The man tried to keep between the two, but to no avail, as the girl was now only inches from Mary's face. "Kit...maybe you shouldn't--"
"No, Khasty. Now iz not ze tiem for words, now es ze time for action! In ze name of ze most holy Kastel Zypher..." The teenage bombshell made a grab for Mary's collar, but Mary's hand was quicker.
A sharp pain shot through the girls pale shoulder, and then another through her head. Before she had time to react, she was laying on the cool ground, gasping desperately for breath.
As Mary stood up, the man known as Khast spoke once more, "So I see that you've started to put your skills to good use. Now just take her wallet and you'll be a full fledged mugger...".
Marry stretched, looking rather bored. "In all the years that you've lectured me, when have I listened to you?"
Khast was obviously taken aback, but he quickly recovered as quickly as he changed the subject, "It's no matter, anyway. You have no business here, this train is used for transporting the property of the government and those who can pay...and we all know you're far to cheap to squander your money on...well, anything". The last words were meant to be said with a degree of rage, and gathering from the large knights sudden lack of composure, they housed a good deal of it.
An ear splitting whistle rattled the windows of the church behind them, as the train began to slowly move, "...besides, it looks like the train is already moving out, so whatever mischief you were up to, Mary, it is foiled now". Mary attempted to get the last word, but before he could say anything more, Khast turned and left the impromptu train station.

Nightegaile approached Mary as a large bulk of a human and a childish blondey girl walked away. She stared afterthem, standing close behind Mary. "So... Where -um.. is everyone else..?" She asked in sort of a daze quietly. She looked on blankley to nothing, never making eye contact. Mimzy sat next to her happily. She directed her gaze down to him. "He seemed unwell in that poorly made crate...... so I let him out..He seems to be happy to be out of that damn cart.." She said absent mindedly.

Cristofori sprinted into the station. "Next time, tell me when you're going out the back door instead, idiots!" he yelled, skidding to a stop in front of a group of very confused-looking guildsmembers. "Why is the train moving and why aren't we on it and where is that runny-nosed kid who was with us earlier?"

"You know what, screw you dimwits," said Cristofori. "I'm getting on that train." He dashed past the group and leapt onto the flatbed car as it rolled past.

Aiden watched Vladimir jump onto the cart. She laughed and clapped saying " Sounds good to me! Mimz, Come!!" and with that she ran after the boy, the dog close behind and jumped into the cart too. " Well, who's next??" She yelled out. Aiden brushed her hair out of her face, breifly flashing what, at first glance looked like an eye, but it was fabricated. although just as soon as it had appear it disappeared. She turned to Vladimir and smiled. " Vladie, isn't it?? I'm Aiden! Nice to meetcha! So--oh. erm, why are you wearing vampire clothes.... they look girlish..." She giggled, " I'm sure I'm just being foolish!, ahahaha!" she turned to pet Mimzy, who was panting very hard.

The door to the rear compartment, and Taylor stepped out, looking at the group curiously. "I thought you all would--". CLANK The train lurched forward, picking up speed. CLANK It took Mary only a second to realize what was happening. Without thinking he grabbed Nightingale's wrist and sprinted after the quickly accelerating train. CLANCLANCLANK It became evident all at once why the train was picking up speed, as the cars ahead ran toward blue skies at full speed, before immediately vanishing from sight. Taylor yelled above the roaring winds, "EVERYONE GRAB HOLD OF SOMETHING!!". And then it hit. with a final lurch the car and everything on it suddenly became weightless. As the final car vanished from sight Mary had one last great idea. He followed.

Mid air a pang of realization hit Mary. He looked over to the girl he still clung tightly to. He mouthed a few obscenities, before turning his attention back to the swiftly approaching problem below. How am I going to get out of this one?

Cristofori dove as the world fell away from beneath them, latching onto a rotting plank with both hands. A pale green light glowed weakly from his knuckles and face as he tried very hard not to look at the ground rushing up toward him.

Aiden was flung to the roof of the train, grabbing Mimzy just before he hit to roof of the train. She screamed out of excitement. Bracing herself and Mimz for the landing.

Sodom was still dizzy from being hurled into one of the cars, but not disoriented enough to keep from realizing the air he was gaining. The huge feeling of vertigo hit him deep, and he immediately felt sick. "No. No. No. No, no, no, no!" He grabbed onto what belts he found holding the cargo down. He did not dare let up on his embrace from what was held down, lest he somehow accidentally escape from the train. "I AM GOING TO DIE!" he screamed, having no doubt in his mind he wouldn't survive the landing.

The wind rushed all around, causing their clothes to slap violently against them. Mary's normally vague eyes were now sullen, his features considerably darker.
Onnet's words were soft, yet they were clearly heard over the noise of the wind. "Hold on tight...". Frightened, brave, strong, decided, determined. Mary Llama Onnet's eyes said all this at once as they locked on to Nightengaile's, threatening to burn straight into her soul. They spoke where words could not, portraying in full what Onnet was prepared to do for a perfect stranger. Without warning reality rushed at the two in the form of a rail road bridge.
In an instant Nightengaile had been turned about and locked securely in an iron embrace.
