Powers and Their Origins I The Gregor Huret Company Published: 996 AS Written by Shane Turbilan This text is now considered outdated.Good day, and thank you for purchasing your copy of Powers and Their Origins! These books are designed to better inform the reader of the methods and mechanics behind different powers all across Genoa! We will attempt to explain these natural phenomenons in a scientific manor. It is to be noted, however, that not all powers and abilities have been properly analyzed at this time. That being said, let us start with a more common type of power, The Summoner! Summoning is a diverse field of ability, as it can effect literally anything in existence. Through the force of their own will, a summoner can bring an object to their location almost instantaneously. For instance, if a summoner had power over cacti, he or she could summon a cacti from literally any location across Genoa to appear before him/her. It is to be noted, however, that most summoners have no control over exactly where their object of expertise is summoned from. It should be noted that there is a special type of summoner that can operate two ways, summoning objects to them, and summoning them away to a different location. These summoners are in fact called Shifters, and are extremely rare.
