The Hat Published: 977 AS Written by Teddy Siege There was a hat. It sat on a mat. Three children found the hat on the mat. A boy and two girls who lived on a plat. "There is something funny about this hat on this mat," the boy said. "There is nothing funny about the hat on the mat," said the girls, "it is just a hat on a mat." "I bet there is something in the hat on the mat," said the boy. "There is nothing in the hat on the mat," the girls said, "now stop being silly and let's go play on the plat." "Wait, I think I know." The boy picked up the hat on the mat and reached into it. The boy pulled the inside of the hat out, and candy and toys flew out everywhere. "You see? I was right!" said the boy. "You were right, now we are having more fun!" The girls were sorry for their grumpiness. "Now let's go play on our plat with these new toys!" And they all played on the plat with their toys, and had more fun then they would have without that. And that's the end of that.
