There are five different types of coins used in Genoan currency. All are rather easy to understand. The understood name for Genoan currency is GC (Genoan Coin). Example: 1 beedle = 500 GC. When dealing with money, people will generally ask for exact GC, and not for specific coins.
Let's go through the list:
Gekkos
Gekko coins have the least value of GC. They are also the most common. They are a dark copper and feature an image of the kingdom of Genoa, with the words "Hail the Kastell" engraved.
Value = 1 GC
Flees
Flee coins are made of a cheap, common sister-type to silver, called "chilva." They feature a mugshot of the famous Kastell of 812-873 AS, "Doppler the Kind."
Value = 10 GC
Ladees
Ladee coins are made of bronze, and feature a mugshot of another famous Kastell: Gregale (774-812 AS), who was rumored to be Half-Orc until he announced that his looks were due to his natural ability.
Value = 100 GC
Beedles
Beedle coins are made of silver, and feature a mugshot of the most famous of all Kastells, the late Mistle (856-996 AS), who was succeeded by his son upon his death.
Value = 500 GC
Mantas
Manta coins are made of gold, and are the rarest Genoan coin to come by. They feature a mugshot of the only female Kastell in history, Alize (02 BS-03 AS).
Value = 1000 GC
And that is all the necessary information about Genoan currency. It is rumored that a new coin featuring the young Kastell Zephyr has already been put into production, but it is not yet confirmed, so we will have to keep our eyes open.
